Nansha implements 21 projects with $4b investment in Q2

On May 30, construction started or was completed for about 21 key projects in Nansha's three starting areas - Nansha Bay, the Qingsheng Hub, and the Nansha Hub - in the second quarter of this year.

With a total investment of nearly 30 billion yuan ($4 billion), the projects cover fields such as municipal infrastructure, water conservancy engineering, and housing construction.

The commencement or completion of these projects will play an important role in building a major strategic platform in Nansha. This will be a platform that is based in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and will coordinate with the world.

The Qingsheng Hub covers an area of 8 square kilometers and is positioned as an innovative urban hub. It also plays an important role in culture, education, and technological innovation sectors.

The Nansha Hub features 10 sq km and it is positioned as a pilot zone for the integrated development of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. Currently, a design team from Singapore has been invited to assist in optimizing and improving the planning and design of the area.
