Nansha, Conghua win 'Most Popular' award at intl fair

Guangzhou's Nansha and Conghua districts joined hands for the Guangzhou International Travel Fair from May 19 to 21, and won the "Most Popular" award, being Guangzhou's only unit to receive this honor.

The two districts' 150-square-meter booth highlighted a brand new cultural and tourism experience, which attracted nearly 100,000 visitors at the fair. Through interesting games, visitors were given the opportunity to participate in a lucky draw to win free gifts. Over 3,000 gifts were distributed at this event.

The Guangzhou International Travel Fair has been recognized as one of the most significant annual international travel fairs in the Asian-Pacific Region because of its extensive influence in the tourism industry and related industries at home and abroad.

The scale of this year's fair reached 22,000 sq m, attracting 1,003 exhibitors from 55 countries and regions to participate. In total, it received 39,046 professional visitors and 173,000 general visitors at its on-site venue.
