New agreement boosts GBA biomedical industry

The signing ceremony for a strategic cooperation agreement between Nansha government and China Resources Guangdong Pharmaceutical was held in Nansha on May 5.

The signing of this agreement marks a new stage in Nansha's efforts to innovate and integrate the biomedical industry within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The agreement mainly includes four key contents. The first is the promotion and implementation of the "Hong Kong and Macao Pharmaceutical and Equipment Connect" policy in Nansha. The second is the reform of the drug marketing certificate holder system. 

The third focal point is the construction of a special channel for drug import services in the Nansha Comprehensive Bonded Zone. The fourth point in the agreement is the implementation of Nansha's cross-border e-commerce medication system, which will focus on importing non-prescription medication from Hong Kong and Macao.
