Nansha, Azerbaijan to promote cooperation

A delegation from Khazar district in Baku city, Azerbaijan, visited Nansha district in Guangzhou from April 21 to 24, led by Elshan Salahov, chief executive of Khazar district.

This was the first offline meeting between the two sides since the signing of a memorandum of understanding. It is also the first delegation from a foreign sister city to be welcomed by Nansha after the pandemic.

Both sides hope to take this visit as an opportunity to further promote exchanges and carry out cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, culture and tourism, and education.

During the visit, the delegation went to the Nansha Modern Urban Agriculture Experimental Park, the Nansha Port Phase IV Terminal, the offices of the Digital Service Trade Platform, the Nansha Waterbird World Ecological Park, and the GAC Science and Technology Museum to conduct in-depth research and understand the development of Nansha's varied industries.
