Nansha Nursing Home welcomes elderly from HK

Nansha district recently issued and implemented a plan for Hong Kong and Macao elderly people to stay in Nansha's public elderly care facilities. The first batch of 50 exclusive nursing beds has been set up at the Nansha Nursing Home.

The nursing home is open to Hong Kong and Macao senior citizens aged 60 and above, including those who have worked in Nansha for more than six consecutive months and their spouses and their immediate family members and those who have resided permanently in Nansha for more than six consecutive months.

The nursing home is the only district-level public elderly care facility in Nansha, mainly serving the district's registered elderly. It covers an area of about 13,000 square meters, with a total building area of about 19,000 sq m and a total of 400 nursing beds.

It has established strategic cooperation with surrounding hospitals to provide services such as flexible inter-hospital patient transfer, online consultation by geriatricians and regular visits.

So far, the nursing home has received three elderly people from Hong Kong. They said that the nursing home environment is pleasant, the food is affordable and delicious, and the service is of high quality.
