The Nansha International Finance Center (IFC) Library, the first branch of the Nansha Library opened in 2023, started trial operation on March 29.

The 2,110-square-meter library is located in the air corridor between the two office buildings at the Nansha IFC, a landmark in the Lingshan Island Point area of Pearl Bay.

The library is 100 meters above the ground and has a span of over 60 meters. It is equipped with multiple characteristic areas, such as a reading collection area, a staircase reading area, a corridor reading area, a reading activity area, and a cultural exhibition area.

In order to create a new type of public cultural space, the library integrates other multi-functional areas as well, such as a coffee bar, shared office areas, skyline viewing platforms, and leisure reception halls.

It now has a collection of over 5,000 books, mainly covering domestic and foreign literature, finance, art and social sciences. All books in the library can be borrowed and returned to any member libraries within the Guangzhou public library service system.
