Institute for liquid sunshine opens in Nansha

The signing ceremony for the Liquid Sunshine Research Institute and Industrialization Demonstration Base project was held in Guangzhou's Nansha district on April 2.

The liquid sunshine energy system refers to a system that converts solar energy into stable chemical energy through the use of carbon dioxide and water. This energy is then stored, transported, and applied in its liquid form.

The institute plans to establish an integrated platform for production, education, research, and application through its "government + institutes + enterprises" cooperation model.

It will focus on the research, application, and innovation of liquid sunshine. It will also cultivate talents, transform achievements and create a new industrial ecosystem.

Nansha regards new energy as the key to develop its emerging industries. The establishment of the Liquid Sunshine project will help Nansha improve its new energy industry layout, and will allow the district to leapfrog into the forefront of the new energy storage industry.
