Nansha hosts 1st GBA Roller Skating Tournament

The first Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Roller Skating Invitational was held on Mar 18 at the Nansha International Cruise Home Port in Nansha district, Guangzhou.

The two-day event included freestyle roller skating and speed roller skating. More than 1,200 junior skaters and enthusiasts from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao formed over 130 teams and participated in the event.

The success of the event in Nansha has further promoted exchanges among young people from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. It also greatly promoted the breakthrough development of roller skating competitions and roller skating culture in Nansha.

The event not only focused on the high level roller skating competition, but also incorporated cultural, artistic and trendy elements to create an immersive viewing experience for the people watching.

Next, with the aim of enhancing sports culture, Nansha will continue to create high-quality sports events in the GBA to enrich the public. The first batch of training bases and amateur sports schools will be fully utilized to focus on developing sports programs, and training more sports talents.
