Nansha hospital to open in March

The Nansha international branch of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University will open at the end of March. The first batch of nearly 80 executive directors of sections and specialists joined the hospital on March 1.

The hospital plans to introduce five key national disciplines, including nephrology, general surgery, neurology, endocrinology and otolaryngology, and more than 30 key national clinical specialties, including gynecology, obstetrics, critical care medicine and orthopedics.

The section from Hengli Middle Road to west of Phoenix Avenue will service Nansha hospital. The road has a designed speed of 60 kilometers per hour and is approximately 1.09 km long.
