Anneng Group, a State-owned construction cooperation, set its South China headquarters in Nansha on Feb 8, with a registered capital of 2 billion yuan ($300 million).
The headquarters will focus on industries including investment, development, new energy and emergency. It aims to build industrial clusters, parks and chains with emergency security characteristics, which will bring thousands of high-end talents and job opportunities to Nansha district.
In addition, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), one of the four world-leading accounting firms, opened its innovation business headquarters in Nansha on Feb 6, to serve the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Being the first independent legal entity that PwC has set in Guangzhou, it signifies that Nansha's investment attraction has improved, and that its industrial development ecology has gained authoritative certification.
Nansha is also home to PwC's science and innovation service center and modern service industry research institute, which settled in the district on Nov 9, 2022.
The cooperation between Nansha and PwC is expected to help the district build a major strategic platform in the Greater Bay Area, which will cooperate with Hong Kong and Macao.
