The world's biggest luxury roll-on/roll-off (ro-ro) ship, which was built by Guangzhou Shipyard International Company Limited (GSI) for MOBY Shipping, docked at Guangzhou Nansha International Cruise Home Port on Oct 21.

It is the largest luxury ro-ro ship in the world, measuring 237 meters long and 33 meters wide, with a weight of about 70,000 tons. It has 13 decks, 536 cabins, four garages, and 3,800-meter cargo lanes, which can accommodate almost 2,500 passengers.

In addition, the ship has been set up with various functional areas, including entertainment, leisure, and catering facilities. It is equivalent to a "five-star hotel on the sea," with a 10-storey building and a 4-storey garage.

The ship has not been delivered yet and it only berthed at Nansha cruise home port for its trial voyage. It is expected to be prepared for its official sailing in November.

GSI owns 100 percent independent intellectual property rights of the ro-ro ship, which will be used for passenger and cargo transportation in the Mediterranean area after delivery.
