The one-day Nansha section of the "Bridges" Discovery Tour organized by GDToday kicked off in Guangzhou's Nansha district on Aug 26, inviting foreign internet celebrities to get a close-up look at Nansha's sci-tech vitality and ecological environment.

The delegation arrived in Nansha by Guangzhou Metro Line 18, which is the first metro line in China with a speed of 160 kilometers per hour and widely known as the "fastest metro line" in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Miguel Roberg, a video blogger from the United States, said that Guangzhou Metro Line 18 is probably the fastest subway he has ever ridden and it has greatly improved commuting for people in the city.

At the Nansha Archives Information Planning Exhibition Center, foreign internet celebrities learned about Nansha's development and construction.

Roberg praised Nansha's great potential for development. He said that as a foreigner, he is most interested in the area's highly efficient and rapid establishment of enterprises, which can attract more enterprises to settle in the area while promoting the district's development.

The delegation also visited the Nansha Bird Park, a themed ecological park integrating functions of waterbird breeding, science popularization and sightseeing. The park is home to 48 national first-class and second-class protected animals.

Anastasia Macjuka, a lifestyle blogger from Latvia, said that she felt the unique natural charm of Nansha during the trip, and if she has the opportunity, she will choose to live in Nansha.
