Guangzhou's Nansha district has been actively promoting the first batch of pilot projects for the Jiaomen River recently, aiming to build a modern international block with Jiaomenhe Block.

It aims to be among the 10 to 15 blocks that Guangzhou will select for the pilot construction of international blocks during the 14th Five Year Plan period (2021-25).

Jiaomenhe Block is located in the central block of the Nansha area of the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, with an area of 1.98 square kilometers. It has a resident population of about 20,700 people.

It is home to Nansha Library, Jiaomen Park, and the International Talent Port, as well as other important public facilities and commercial supporting facilities, providing residents with one-stop services for leisure and entertainment.

The block is building a communication platform for Chinese and foreign residents, while also organizing a series of activities related to international blocks, such as Chinese training courses for foreign talents, and language corners for Chinese and foreign residents. It also regularly holds policy presentations, aiming to help people from Hong Kong, Macao, and overseas better integrate into local life.
