Nansha Library puts 3 more branches into operation

Three branches of Nansha Library have started operation, local media outlets reported on May 25.

Nansha Library has been cooperating with Dagang Lingshan Middle School in launching the first library-school cooperation demonstrative branch in Nansha district.

The 150-square-meter branch in Lingshan Middle School has a total collection of more than 12,000 books and is open to students and teachers in the school as well as nearby residents. Of note, residents the library need to call the hotline (+86-20-39008240) to make reservations before entering and abide by the school's pandemic prevention and control measures. 

Nansha Library's Xinghai Book house branch is located beside the new government affairs service center in Lanhe town. It has the same area with the one in Dagang Lingshan Middle School and currently has over 2,000 books, and half of them are for children. 

Another branch is located on the first floor of the Nansha government affairs service center with a total area of 80 sq m and contains over 2,000 books. Self-service book machines are available on-site.

Nansha Library currently has 21 branches, including 10 at the town or community level, six service stations, two 24-hour smart book houses, and a school library, providing local residents with a higher-quality reading environment.
