Nansha sets good example for Guangdong Free Trade Zone

Nansha held an event to announce the top 10 innovation achievements of the Nansha area of the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone in the past year, local media outlets reported on April 21.

Shuang Dehui, deputy director of the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, said that the FTZ, Nansha achieved 73 innovation results in the past year, of which seven were promoted in Guangdong and 16 were promoted in Guangzhou, providing fruitful results and successful experiences for China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone to further deepen reform and expand opening up.

Shuang also said that Nansha has been driven by innovation in recent years and has achieved great breakthroughs in economic and industrial development, setting a good example for the FTZ, Guangdong to accelerate the development of new foreign trade business forms.

Since its establishment, the FTZ, Nansha has always adhered to institutional innovation. During the event, 15 units and 15 individuals were commended as "Advanced Units for Institutional Innovation in Nansha District" and "Advanced Individuals in Institutional Innovation in Nansha District," demonstrating the FTZ, Nansha's encouragement of innovation.
