Nansha's 46 advanced manufacturing projects start construction

Nansha held an event to launch important projects in the first quarter of 2022 on March 30, covering 46 advanced manufacturing projects, with a total investment of over 75 billion yuan ($12 billion).

Among them is a new factory from Guangzhou Haifeng Automobile Parts, an auto parts manufacturing company that had settled in Nansha in 2007. The company's new factory will start construction this year on Nansha's Xiaohu Island, which will help the company upgrade from a traditional manufacturing factory to an advanced smart manufacturing factory.

"We are honored to witness and participate in Nansha's industrial development," said Guo Xiaoxin, general manager of the company.

In 2021, Nansha's annual GDP exceeded 200 billion yuan, its agricultural output value ranked first in Guangzhou, and its industrial output value above designated size ranked second in the city. The growth rate of its fixed asset investment, general public budget revenue, and total retail sales of social consumer goods were also first in Guangzhou.

In the future, Nansha will continue to optimize its industrial support policies to create a first-class business environment, as well as actively provide high-quality services for enterprises to promote the completion of projects.
