BP Guangzhou Development Oil Products, one of the first Nansha enterprises to obtain a Guangzhou bonded oil supply qualification for international sailing ships, refueled an energy import ship, MV Flying Loong, on March 12.

MV Flying Loong became the first energy import ship to refuel at the "super gas station" at Nansha Port.

"Now our ships can refuel directly at the unloading dock, so we don't have to wait to refuel at the outer anchorage of the Pearl River Estuary," said a staff member of Hengda Shipping Group, the owner of MV Flying Loong. "Compared with the past, this saves us more than 24 hours in time and the refueling cost has been greatly reduced. Nansha Port will be our first choice for refueling."

According to BP Guangzhou Development Oil Products, the innovative fuel supply method of unloading and refueling is safer than the previously available refueling process, receiving great feedback from customers and increasing the industry's confidence in Nansha ship refueling.

In the future, the company will allow more energy suppliers and transport ships to participate in Nansha's bonded refueling business and benefit from the Nansha "super gas station."

Nansha Port, the comprehensive hub port of Nansha, has opened 137 international routes, with its trade network reaching more than 200 countries and regions, as well as more than 400 ports.
