Honglian Bridge moves closer to completion

The bridge erecting machine of Honglian Bridge was successfully assembled on March 3 after more than 20 days of debugging.

At this point, Honglian Bridge entered the standard portion of steel box girder laying, and the entire line was completed.

The wind speed is crucial for installing the equipment on the sea. The wind speed on the sea is often higher than on land, with a level five to six yearly average wind speed.

The installation of the Honglian Bridge's erecting equipment was performed with scientific order and safety.

The steel box girder of the Honglian Bridge is 560 meters long and is divided into 39 beam sections.

At present, the cantilever assembly of the steel-concrete section of Honglian Bridge has been completed. Next, the laying of the steel box girder of the standard section will begin.
