CHALI, a high-end tea bag enterprise in China, started constructing its headquarters in Nansha, Guangzhou on Jan 13. The new headquarters will open China's first fully automated tea bag production center, research and development center, and manufacturing center for the International Tea Academy.

Covering an area of 25 mu (1.66 hectares), CHALI headquarters is divided into two phases of construction. The first phase, which includes an office building and a production center, has 20,000 square meters.

The production center contains a tea bag processing plant with an annual capacity of 500 million tea bags. It will be equipped with an intelligent robotic warehousing system that can ship 10,000 orders a day. The establishment of headquarters in Nansha will promote the standardization, industrialization, and technologization of the CHALI tea production.

By 2021, CHALI's cumulative sales of tea bags has exceeded 900 million yuan($142 million).

In the future, CHALI will continue to give full play to its advantages in product innovation and research to promote the development of high quality tea.
