Medical Assistance (Normative Document No 14 [2019] of the General Office of the People's Government of Guangzhou Municipality), specifically including:
1. People in extreme poverty, people entitled to substance allowances, people from low-income families with financial difficulties, orphans, and de facto unattended children with valid certificates in Nansha district, who are recognized by the bureau of civil Affairs of Nansha district;
2. Severely disabled persons and people with Grade-III or Grade-IV mental and intellectual disabilities (including those with multiple mental or intellectual disabilities) valid certificates granted by the disabled persons' federation, who have household registration in Nansha district;
3. Families of martyrs and other entitled groups recognized by the bureau of veteran affairs of Nansha district, who have household registration in Nansha district;
4. Families of policemen who died on duty or died of illness in service, as recognized by the bureau of public security of Nansha district, who have household registration in Nansha district;
5. Members of families with special difficulties under family planning policy, as recognized by the bureau of health of Nansha district, who have household registration in Nansha district;
6. Students with financial difficulties who attend colleges and universities in Nansha district, as recognized by the bureau of education of Nansha district, who don't have household registration in Guangzhou.
(II) Urban and Rural Residents
Refers to residents with household registration in Nansha district who have been covered by medical insurance for urban and rural residents in Guangzhou in the current year, which excludes the people who have financial difficulties and are covered by medical assistance as prescribed in (I) of this Article.
