Notice of the General Office of Nansha District People's Government of Guangzhou Municipality on Issuing the Medical Assistance Scheme for secondary reimbursement in Nansha District of Guangzhou Municipality

②  For Grade-III designated hospitals in Nansha district: Reimbursement amount = (Total hospitalization cost – basic medical expenses) × 20 percent.

(II) Secondary Reimbursement Standards for Class-I Special Diseases for Outpatient Treatment (see the Supplementary Provisions for the types of diseases)

The outpatient basic medical expenses of Class-I Special Diseases for Outpatient Treatment shall be reimbursed by 50 percent, and the cap shall be additionally increased by 100 yuan per month on the basis of the original basic medical insurance reimbursement cap of 50 yuan per month. Where any participant has multiple Class-I Special Diseases for Outpatient Treatment, up to three types of such diseases may be selected to enjoy such benefits. Once the diseases are selected, no amendment will be allowed within one year in principle.

Participants shall not be able to enjoy benefits for Class-I Special Diseases for Outpatient Treatment during hospitalization. The total multi-party reimbursement shall not exceed 100 percent of the total basic medical expenses.

Reimbursement scope for Class-I Special Diseases for Outpatient Treatment: Refer to the scope of medical assistance for Class-I Special Diseases for Outpatient Treatment as specified in the Notice of Bureau of Healthcare Security of Guangzhou Municipality, Bureau of Finance of Guangzhou Municipality, Health Commission of Guangzhou Municipality on Issuing the Scope and Standards of Outpatient Payment for Specific Diseases with Overall Plan Funds for Social Medical Insurance in Guangzhou(Normative Document No 4 [2019] of Bureau of Healthcare Security of Guangzhou Municipality). This reimbursement scope shall be changed accordingly with the adjustment of medical insurance policies.

The above designated category of special diseases (previously identified diseases do not need to be re-identified) must be diagnosed by designated medical insurance hospitals with diagnostic qualifications.

(III) Secondary Reimbursement Standards for Class-II Special Diseases for Outpatient Treatment (see the Supplementary Provisions for the disease types)

Secondary reimbursement standards for Class-II Special Diseases for Outpatient Treatment shall be implemented by referring to (I) Secondary Reimbursement Standards for Hospitalization Expenses.
