The second phase of the new Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Creative Center in Guangzhou's Nansha district has passed its joint final acceptance, marking that the whole project has been completed as scheduled, local media outlets reported on Oct 26.

The project is a new industrial park that integrated creativity, culture, ecology, science and technology. During its construction period, the construction site has overcome many difficulties such as defending against the COVID-19 pandemic and typhoons.

Located south of Huanshi Avenue, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Creative Center is divided into two phases. The first phase of the center, which has been put into operation, covers a floorage of about 13,000 square meters, including an R&D workshop and an apartment for high-tech talents.

With a total floorage of about 36,000 square meters, the second phase will mainly focus on innovation and research. It is a multi-science and innovation complex integrating science, technology, ecology and a creative space.

The second phase is equipped with facilities such as research and development rooms, supporting rooms, catering rooms, and an underground garage with a civil air defense network. It plans to introduce enterprises managing biomedicine, software research and development, high-tech, cultural and creative industries.
