Guangzhou's Nansha district has topped Guangzhou in terms of its average scale of industrial plots, local media outlets reported on Sept 22.

Guangzhou issued its industrial map for investors to choose their favorite industrial areas to develop their companies one day earlier, and is the first large-scale comprehensive industrial map created by the city.

"For those who want to invest in Guangzhou, issues such as where industrial plots are and what kind of industries are clustering in the area are their most pressing questions," said an official from Guangzhou municipal development and reform commission.

The map shows that Guangzhou has a total of 564 industrial plots with a total land area of 9,037.78 hectares and 10 of them are in Nansha district with a total land area of 1,355.2 hectares, accounting for 15 percent of the city's total.

Nansha's average scale of industrial plots reached 135.52 hectares.

Ten Nansha plots are mainly used for advanced manufacturing, the modern service industry and the strategic emerging industry.
