The Galaxy Development Building on Lingshan Island in Guangzhou's Nansha district has now finished construction for its main structure, local media outlets reported on Sept 12.

The project has now started decorating its public areas and installing glass curtain walls. The building is scheduled to finish construction in the first half of 2022.

Located to the east of Fenghuang Avenue, the building is a first-class office featuring various functions spanning office space, communications, meeting rooms and exhibitions for innovative companies.

The height of the building is around 100 meters and will have 26 floors in total, of which three are underground. The first two floors of the building will consist of food and drink vendors while the rest of the floors above ground are for offices.

A staff member from the project said that the exterior of the building fully applies glass curtain walls, striving to turn the building into a new landmark in Nansha.

Once operational, the building will lure scientific innovation companies and those managing financial services while applying advanced technologies such as big data, the internet of things and cloud computing to offer a smart office experience to companies.
