The OSK Lines (MOL) cargo ship Orchid Ace from Japan arrived at the Nansha automobile wharf at Guangzhou Port on Sept 6, loading 1,397 commercial vehicles at the wharf for further export.

MOL has now become the second of its kind to open foreign trade ro-ro shipping routes in Nansha, further expanding Guangzhou Port's foreign trade ro-ro shipping network.

The company's shipping route, mainly exporting cars and construction machinery vehicles, is expected to provide more opportunities for domestic main engine plants exporting their products to areas spanning Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Nansha Customs has launched a host of measures to better serve companies such as offering a 24-hour clearance reservation service and providing guidance for companies for export declaration, which further cuts down the clearance time.
