On Aug 18, the office of the port of entry and exit of the Shenzhen municipal people's government issued a notice regarding adjustments of quarantine and medical observation measures for people entering Shenzhen from Hong Kong.

From Aug 18, ordinary visitors entering Shenzhen from Hong Kong will be required to hold a document proving a negative nucleic acid test result issued within 24 hours by a government-accredited testing institute in Guangdong and Hong Kong. After that, visitors will be subject to isolated medical observation for 14 days and in-home health monitoring for another seven days.

For those who are eligible for in-home quarantine in Shenzhen, they can apply for "7+7+7" isolated medical observation and health monitoring (i.e. seven days of centralized quarantine + seven days of in-home quarantine + seven days of in-home health monitoring) at the healthcare facility that they are staying in after entry.
