COVID-19 vaccination for teenagers goes smoothly in Nansha

As of Aug 9, all minors aged between 12 and 17 years old in Nansha district have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to Nansha's health authority. 

The second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine for minors aged 15 to 17 years old will be arranged in late August and will finish by the end of August. Those aged 12 to 14 years old can receive their second doses in September.

As of Aug 9, 1.43 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in Nansha.

There are 10 vaccination sites available to people 12 years old and older in Nansha including the Nansha Sub-district Conference Center, the Huangge Town Sports Park and the Hengli Town Cultural Square.

Some vaccination sites require people to make an appointment in their villages and communities in advance, and it is recommended to ask local health clinic or vaccination site about relevant information before getting a vaccination.
