Hydrogen fuel cell industrial park to be built in Nansha

A strategic cooperation agreement was signed between Zhongke of Hydrogen Power (Guangzhou) New Energy Equipment and Agile Group Holdings on April 12 to jointly build a hydrogen fuel cell power supply system industrial park in Guangzhou's Nansha district.

The industrial park will feature the integrated application of photovoltaic cells, hydrogen energy and artificial intelligence. It will consist of an R&D innovation platform, a research center and a production base for the hydrogen fuel cells' core materials, parts and power generation systems.

It is expected that the industrial park will help Nansha to reach an internationally-leading level in the key materials, core spare parts and system integration of hydrogen fuel cells, as well as in the manufacture of hydrogen energy vehicles.

The district will become a demonstration model with international influence for the diversified application of hydrogen energy, boosting the transformation of the energy structure of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The Development Plan of Guangzhou's Hydrogen Industry (2019-30) was released by the Guangzhou municipal development and reform commission last year. It positions Nansha as an industrial hub, using its local advantages in resources, manufacturing, logistics and ports to become a role model in the application of hydrogen energy buses and shipping.
