Supplementary Notice by Talent Development Bureau of Guangzhou Nansha Economic and Technological Development Zone and Nansha District Bureau of Education of Guangzhou Municipality on the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Several Measures for Talent Attraction for Innovative Development in Guangzhou Nansha New Area (Free Trade Zone) 

All towns (street communities), departments of and institutions directly under Nansha Development Zone (Nansha District), and municipal entities in Nansha District:

In accordance with relevant provisions of the Notice on Issuing the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Several Measures for Talent Attraction for Innovative Development in Guangzhou Nansha New Area (Free Trade Zone) (Normative Document No.2 [2020] of the Talent Development Bureau of Guangzhou Nansha Development Zone), for the purposes of ensuring the consistency and balance of the policies on the application and appropriation of housing subsidies for high-level talents and enhancing the competitiveness and attraction of talent policies of Nansha District, the application requirements for settling-in subsidies for high-level talents in education are supplemented as follows: regarding the clause that any high-level talent in education that "have enjoyed the policies of welfare-oriented public housing allocation or affordable housing in Guangzhou Municipality or have received other housing subsidies, subsidies for property purchase and rental, or special scientific research allowances granted by the treasury of Nansha District shall not be entitled to other relevant benefits", as specified in "Miscellaneous" in Paragraph 1 "Settling-in Subsidies" of Article 68 of the Detailed Rules, the welfare-oriented allocated housing or affordable housing to which the talent has been entitled shall be those in Nansha District, determined in accordance with the address of the house.

This Notice shall come into force on the date of promulgation and shall remain in force until 31 December 2021.

This Notice are interpreted by the Talent Development Bureau of Nansha Development Zone, with consultation from Nansha District Bureau of Education of Guangzhou Municipality.
