The 17th International Finance Forum (IFF) will take place in Guangzhou's Nansha district from Nov 20 to 22, with nearly 100 guests from home and abroad expected to attend in both online and offline venues.

This year's event will be live streamed all over the world and viewers will be able to participate in the interaction during the live stream for the first time.

Jointly held by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Guangzhou municipal government, and IFF, the 17th IFF will focus on pressing issues in the sustainable development of the global economy under the current complicated economic and financial environment.

A total of four themed summits and two roundtable conferences will be held at this year's event, focusing on topics like the global capital market, financial technology, and green development.

The roundtable conference of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) will explore the current development situation of the GBA and future cooperation trends, putting forward suggestions in areas spanning optimizing the area's business environment, as well as cooperation and innovation in finance in the GBA.

Launched by IFF for the first time, the 2020 Global Green Financial Innovation Award will have its awards ceremony held during the event. The award will honor global innovative solutions for green finance to push forward international communication and cooperation in green finance, while promoting successful practice experiences.

IFF is an independent, non-profit, and non-governmental international organization dedicated to high-level financial dialogues.
