A conference on accelerating the first-level talent environment construction in Guangzhou's Nansha district was held on Sept 22 in Nansha, gathering more than 150 guests, including outstanding experts, scholars, people in charge of government departments, as well as representatives from companies.
The conference was jointly held by the Administrative Committee of the Nansha Development Zone and Jinan University.
Guests attending the conference spoke highly of Nansha's efforts in establishing its talent environment and put forward suggestions on areas spanning talent introduction, cultivation, development, as well as services in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Zhu Chengzhi, member of the standing committee of the CPC Nansha district committee, said that compared with business environment, talent environment not only focuses on the development of talents, but also emphasizes the output and marketization operation of intelligence.
Zhu noted that Nansha will implement initiatives like strengthening policy innovation, laying out talent innovation and entrepreneurship platforms, as well as improving talent service quality.
Wang Huiyao, founder of the Center for China and Globalization, suggested that Nansha could make full use of its geographic advantages to establish close cooperation mechanisms with Hong Kong and Macao, making more contributions to Nansha's efforts to be an international talent hub.
