A delegation of three teachers and 28 students from the Guanghua School of Management of Peking University started a one-week practical research activity in Guangzhou's Nansha district on Aug 4.

Liu Qiao, one of the teachers leading the delegation and dean of the Guanghua School of Management, said that visiting the Nansha area of the Guangdong (China) Pilot Free Trade Zone can help students learn about the latest changes in China and the world.

Liu noted that the Guanghua School of Management has been cooperating with Nansha for four consecutive years, adding that he hoped that both sides can further enrich and upgrade the cooperation level in the future.

The students in this delegation have been divided into two groups, carrying out research on Nansha's scientific research economy and the cluster development of the district's financial technology industry.

Zhu Chengzhi, member of the standing committee of the CPC Nansha district committee, said that Nansha will make all efforts to ensure the smooth operation of the activity and to maintain strong communication with the Guanghua School of Management.

The Guanghua School of Management signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Nansha in May 2017. It has arranged three groups, consisting of a total of 45 students and three teachers, to visit Nansha from 2017 to 2019, completing research in various key developed industries in Nansha, such as artificial intelligence, new energy vehicles, biomedicine, shipping logistics, and cross-border leasing.
