Mead Johnson Nutrition's cross-border center settles in Nansha

The launch ceremony of Mead Johnson Nutrition's cross-border center was held on July 30 in Guangzhou's Nansha district, with the ceremony also marking the induction of the center into the global traceability system.

Dong Ke, mayor of Nansha district, said that Mead Johnson Nutrition has carried out cooperation with Nansha since 2019 and the district will continue to support the operation of Mead Johnson Nutrition's center in the area.

Enda Ryan, CEO of Mead Johnson Nutrition Greater China, said that Nansha has been a pioneer in developing a global traceability system, having acquired unique experiences and advantages. The establishment of Mead Johnson Nutrition's center in Nansha is expected to further increase the influence of global cross-border trade by joining in the system.

Currently, Mead Johnson Nutrition has designated the superior international distribution center in Nansha as a cluster base for products to be sold at nearby markets. It is expected that the company's import and export volume through Nansha will reach between 3 billion yuan ($429.17 million) and 4 billion yuan.
