The Nansha branch of the Guangzhou municipal planning and natural resources bureau released an announcement on simplifying property registration processes on April 15, aiming to turn Nansha into a leading hub for business environment with global competitiveness.

Measures have been made in areas spanning reducing registration process, simplifying materials collection, compressing processing costs, and shortening processing time.

They cover registration businesses, such as the transfer of companies’ inventory, private inventory of non-residential property, as well as the mortgage of non-residential real estate inventory.

Companies handling the transfer and registration of inventory can go to the service hall without a reservation and they are not required to use online contracts.

A hotline has been opened to offer follow-up service for companies, reducing their waiting time.

Special service counters are available at the service hall, allowing companies to finish the whole process at the same counter from the application of immovable property registration and taxation to receiving certification. The handling time has been shortened to one hour.

Applicants are able to finish the processes for both taxation and registration application with the same materials thanks to the new measures.

When conducting immovable property registration, applicants can also apply for public services, such as water, electricity, natural gas, and network, at the same time.

The policies are effective as of the date of issue and will be valid for the next two years.
