China Gezhouba Group Company Ltd (CGGC) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Guangzhou's Nansha district on March 31 to set up its regional headquarters in Nansha.

CGGC, a central state-owned company with strong competitiveness, owns 27 secondary subsidiaries all over the country and has formed a diversified development pattern covering areas like construction, environmental protection, real estate, highways, and water engineering.

CGGC will set Nansha as a key area in its future investment layout and make contributions to the district's headquarters economy development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Chen Xiaohua, chairman of CGGC, added that the reason why the group has located such an important subsidiary in Nansha was due to the prosperous future prospects of Nansha and the Greater Bay Area.

Cai Chaolin, Party Secretary of Nansha district, said that the district will offer all-around support for the settlement of CGGC’s subsidiary, such as providing individual income tax incentives for more than 3,000 staff members to establish a better business environment for the subsidiary.

Cai noted that Nansha will also support CGGC become a longterm and stable strategic partner in investing in local major construction projects.
