Nansha rolls out guidelines to restore production

Updated: 2020-02-12

Guangzhou's Nansha district released a guideline to help resume production of local industrial enterprises on Feb 9. It emphasized the principles of registration of anti-epidemic measures, differentiated management, strict control and inspection.

The register mechanism highlights the corporate responsibility for the prevention and control of epidemics.

Companies are required to report specific information on reserves of prevention and control materials, implementation of anti-epidemic measures, and their roster of employees who have a history of living in Hubei province.

The filing system uses blockchain technology to synchronously record the information submitted by enterprises so that it cannot be tampered with.

The local government will promote enterprises' safe resumption relying on the differentiated management method.

Those involved in the prevention and control of epidemics (medical devices manufacture & transportation), urban operation (water & power supply, communication), and people's livelihoods (food production) will be given priority to resume work.

Businesses that qualify with a high degree of automation, good sanitation, fewer employees, or that are start-ups or in strategic emerging industries, will be taken into secondary consideration.

In addition, relevant departments should strengthen supervision and inspection of enterprises with more than 20 employees in the district, and upload the on-site inspections to the filing system in a timely manner.
