The second Guangdong HR Summit & Expo on talent training and development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was held on Aug 28, gathering more than 3,000 government leaders and celebrities.

The “8.28 Guangdong HR Summit and Expo” is a conference in the HR industry founded in 2018 by the human resource management association in China’s Guangdong province.
Last year’ s conference attracted over 1,600 elites from well-known enterprises including Mercer China, Korn Ferry, and NYSE listed companies KFY, Oracle, Aliplay, ATA, Liepin, China Merchants Bank and China Unicom.
Notably, the head of the Nansha human resources and social security bureau, a specially invited guest, introduced the district’s development advantages and its supporting policies for local industry, which were of great interest to the attendant enterprises.
The meeting also set up a private session to explore Nansha that was attended by 23 enterprises and institutions.
“Nansha will take the HR industry’s development as a key step and promote the integrative development of innovative technology like AI and the human resources service industry by constructing an industry park of human resources service in Guangzhou,” said Jiang Xiaomin, deputy director of the administrative committee of Nansha development zone.
