The Qingsheng hub cluster comprehensive development project is an area located in Dongchong Town, Nansha district.

It is at the junction of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong passenger-dedicated railway line and the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway. It is also the hub node connecting the east and west sides of the Pearl River.

The cluster is divided into independent projects with the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway and the eastern main line as their physical boundaries, namely, the Qingsheng Core Area for Sci-tech Innovation Education, the Qingsheng Artificial Intelligence Industrial Park and the supporting resettlement project.

The total area of the cluster is about 8.6 square kilometers and the total investment is about 34 billion yuan($5.06 billion).

Construction of the project mainly includes site leveling, municipal road (and bridge) engineering, an integrated pipe gallery, water engineering, and public construction supporting projects. It adopts the "EPC+PPP" model for construction.

As one of seven clusters in Nansha, the Qingsheng hub cluster has the important function of becoming an international cooperation zone for the modern service industry.

The western part will mainly be for the use of colleges and universities, while the central part will be composed of commercial service facilities and second-class residential and emerging industrial parks. The eastern part will be mainly integrated with new industrial parks.

According to the plan, most of the area in the Qingsheng hub cluster will be in the core circle of TOD, where it will have a significant effect on development.

In the future, it will form a transportation hub in the northern part of Nansha offering convenient transportation to Guangzhou university town, the Pearl River Delta region and Hong Kong.

With strong industry and talent advantages, it is a key area for artificial intelligence, interconnected technology, creative makers, technology research and other industries.

Projects of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) and the Sun Hung Kai Transportation Hub Complex have been established in the hub cluster.
