Nansha holds calligraphy writing activities to greet Spring Festival

Nansha is filled with the atmosphere of Spring Festival. People are writing Spring Festival couplets, cutting papers, giving blessings and taking part in Spring Festival charity sales.The Nansha District Literary Union and related institutions jointly hosted a calligraphy writing activity to greet Spring Festival at the Dongchong Taishi Plaza on Jan 9.

Nearly 20 painting and calligraphy artists in Nansha wrote Spring Festival couplets. Festive red paper and free-spirited or strong calligraphy were displayed to let everyone feel the positive atmosphere of the New Year.

The painters used beautiful Spring Festival couplets and blessings to transmit the New Year's good fortune. The activities will also be held in the towns of Huangge, Hengli, Dagang and Nansha Street.

The calligraphy works not only show the exquisite artistic level of the artists, but also express their praise for Nansha. On the same day, the Nansha Street Painting and Calligraphy Base were officially unveiled at the Wende Painting and Calligraphy Institute.
