The laboratory has strong hardware strength and a HVAC test center. It can provide services for the heating and cooling air conditioners of various standard systems around the world, with a maximum testing capacity of 60 RT. A huge central air conditioning unit is wrapped in a silver insulation board, surrounded by sensors.

The HVAC heating capacity is obtained by multiplying the temperature difference between the air inlet and the air outlet by the air volume. The HVAC is preparing for IHO standard certification, so it can be exported to the United States.

Next to the control room, there is a special reverberation room. The ceiling has a blue curved sail shape, and the three walls are covered with yellow spheres of different sizes. These settings are designed to allow the diffuse reflection of the sound so that it evenly fills the room, and the decibels received in any part of the room are consistent.

"In the past, we all calculated noise through the silence method that means it is isolated from the outside world. This is the first reverberation test laboratory in China that communicates with the outside world. It will undoubtedly bring our testing and certification capabilities into line with the international market, which is conducive to industrial manufacturing upgrades, " senior manager of the laboratory Zhong Wenchu told reporters.

Intertek China CEO Bai Xueli said "The opening of the laboratory is an important measure of integration for Chinese manufacturing and the international market. We take Nansha as a gateway to contribute our efforts to the comprehensive service development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, which will enhance the industrial agglomeration efficiency of the Greater Bay Area and help the allocation of high-end quality service resources."

"Inspection and testing are auxiliary services for the intelligent manufacturing industry. It is the production service industry at the forefront of the 'Intelligence' industry chain and an important means to accelerate the development strategy of innovation, which is in line with the development direction of Nansha industry.”

“Currently Nansha is actively promoting the opening up and cooperation of the modern service industry," said Xie Ming.
