Habitable Nansha well received by graduate students in Beijing

"We feel that Nansha has three advantages: ‘good environment’, ‘good people’, and ‘good prospects for development’.We will organize a delegation to work in Nansha!” said agraduate student of the Beijing Institute of Technology. From Nov 26 to 27, Nansha district held a publicity talk for students from universities in Beijing and held talks with Guanghua School of Management of Peking University and Tsinghua University on talent introduction and exchange.

On the afternoon of Nov 26, Nansha held a recruitment publicity talk to attract graduate students at Guanghua School of Management of Peking University. About 200 students from Peking University, Renmin University of China, Beijing Institute of Technology, China University of Geosciences and other colleges and universities participated in the event. After listening to an introduction of Nansha's basic information, talent policies, and job opportunities provided, the students carefully wrotedown their job intentions. Faced with multiple choices, some students asked if they could fill multiple positions at the same time.

Nansha provided nearly a thousand job positions, covering almost all the majors, and academic levels from undergraduate to doctoral students, including key enterprises, research institutes, civil servants, institutions of governments and statutory bodies. Some specific positions have an annual salary of up to 400,000 yuan($58,330).

In addition, the students were very interested in the five business cards of Nansha--- “Greater Bay Area Center”, “Opening-up Gateway”, “Hub Port”, “Innovative Highland” and “Livable City”. A total of 125 resumes were received from 36 undergraduates, 86 masters and 3 doctoral students. There were 22 students from Peking University, 89 students from key universities such as "985" and "211" colleges and 14 from foreign universities and colleges such as Queensland University and Sydney University.

Nansha and Guanghua School of Management of Peking University have already carried out cooperation projects such as the “Fertile Soil Project” and “Talent Training Base”. Nansha further combines them with the relevant plans of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the China' BRI. Nansha, together with the universities, is tryingto make the activities more fruitful and targeted.

Zhang Chao, director general of the Student Career Development Guidance Center of Tsinghua University, said that he will actively make Tsinghua University's social practice base for PhD students settled in Nansha, and hope that Nansha will bring more recruitment talks and activities to Tsinghua.
