X Talent award

High-end leading talent award: Up to 10 million yuan of relocation allowance or a talent apartment with a size of 200 m2 to be given to newly introduced Nobel laureate, winner of International top science and technology award, academician of China, academician from developed countries, experts selected by the Recruitment Program of Global Experts, innovation and entrepreneurship leading talent at provincial or municipal level among others.

Backbone talent and senior executive award: A backbone talent with an annual taxable salary exceeding 300,000 yuan (200,000 for someone working in a research and development institute) to be given a subsidy, equaling to 40percent of the individual's economic contribution and without any upper limit; talents from Hong Kong and Macao will be entitled to receive a special cash award to cover their loss caused by tax burden difference among mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao; While the individual income tax rate for foreign expats is set at 15percent, regardless of the the individual's actual income level.High-end talent award: up to an amount equaling to the individual's total economic contribution to Nansha, and the cash prize will be directly transferred to the individual's personal bank account.

Provision of talent apartment: Rent free apartment with a size of 200m2 for a high-end talent up to 10 years; those eligible talents, upon working in Nansha for over 10 years, will be entitled to acquire the house property right free of charge; a backbone talent or back-up talent is eligible to apply to rent a government subsidized talent apartment with a size up to 100m2 , while talents from Hong Kong, Macao and foreign countries will be given top priority in staying in an international talent community.

Subsidy to talents with high academic qualifications: housing subsidy to be made available to newly introduced well-educated talents, including 20,000 yuan for an undergraduate, 40,000 yuan to a postgraduate, 60,000 yuan to a doctoral researcher; a one-off research grant of 100,000 yuan and 80,000 yuan of living allowance each year to be given to a newly introduced post-doctoral researcher; if the post-doctoral researcher chooses to continue to work in Nansha with the duration of the service contract exceeding 3 years, he or she will be awarded with a one-off living allowance of 200,000 yuan.

High-end talent in the fields of education and health care: up to 5 million yuan of living allowance for a verified high-end talent in the fields of education and health care; while a talent in the health care field will be entitled to claim up to 600,000 yuan of research grant.

Shipping talent support: A number of Guangzhou hukou quote will be made available to eligible shipping professionals, as well as their spouses and children; in addition, a subsidy with an amount up to his or her economic contribution will be given to an outstanding international seaman.

Award for talents with professional skills: Nansha will set up Nansha Talent Award and Nansha Craftsmanship Award, with a prize money of 20,000 yuan for each winner; Nansha will also set up Nansha Elite Professional Award and Nansha Elite Craftsmanship Award, with a prize money of 1 million yuan for each winner; Any individual who participates in a professional post examination or succeeds in upgrading his or her professional title, will be given a subsidy of 5,000 yuan.
