"Emperor Banana" is named after its hometown -- Wanqingsha Town. Located in a subtropical zone, Wanqingsha Town is blessed with the exceptional advantages of mild climate, abundant rainfall, and sufficient sunlight, suitable for cultivation of the Emperor Banana. In 2008, development of the "Emperor Banana" industry in the town was upgraded. At present, its plantation area is as many as 3,000 mu with an annual yield of 6,000 tons. The bananas in Wanqingsha Town have a fresh and lovely luster in appearance, plump fruit, thin skin and thick flesh, unique flavor and rich nutrition.
