Nansha explores digital trade frontier with token and computing power

A digital trade roadshow was held on July 30 in Nansha, focusing on token and computing power as part of a global cross-border trade ecosystem conference.

Nansha is developing an international data port as part of its "Five-Port Linkage" strategy. The district has deployed the only IPv6 root server in South China and achieved full 10G optical and 5G-A network coverage. It also plans to surpass 20,000 petaflops of intelligent computing capacity within the next two years. The first data outbound transfer service window and negative lists for data export are already operational.

 During the recent roadshow, enterprises presented strategies for global tokenization across five key areas — standards, compliance, computing power, best practices and ecosystem development. Among the highlights were compliant data hosting solutions that ensure data is kept within national borders and closed-loop token export services for processing incoming data.

 The Guangdong Token Exchange and Service Center was officially inaugurated at the event. By capitalizing on the manufacturing and trade strengths of the Greater Bay Area, Nansha is working to integrate data, computing power and tokens to build a replicable model for China's digital service exports.
