Nansha's sci-tech rainforest fuels industrial cluster growth

Since its opening in 2024, Yuexiu iPARK in Nansha has generated over $4.45 billion in cumulative revenue and $370.45 million in tax contributions, reflecting not just numerical growth but a full-scale ecosystem upgrade.

It has evolved into a dense innovation rainforest, with over 200 sci-tech enterprises forming maturing industrial chains along the Guangzhou-Hong Kong corridor.

A new energy vehicle cluster now hosts eight companies across about 20,000 square meters, integrating both software and hardware. The life sciences sector has attracted 20 biomedical firms, including a stem cell leader that has built a clinical-grade cell bank. Artificial intelligence and robotics enterprises are already piloting unmanned logistics across open park scenarios.

The park also propels specialized SMEs overseas. Dongwei Electroacoustics, a national "little giant" subsidiary, chose Nansha for its strategic location — 20 minutes to Shenzhen and direct access to Hong Kong's airport. Its cable-free multimedia system has been deployed in Thailand and South Africa and is supported by business services and talent housing.

Cross-border synergy with Hong Kong deepens through joint centers that host five HK professor-led startups each, and through a HKUST (Guangzhou) partnership with over 60 incubated projects. With Yuexiu's HK financial licenses, the park connects firms to IPOs and provides testing grounds in communities, transport and manufacturing, cementing its position as a core Bay Area sci-tech and industrial hub.
