The event saw the launch of the Nansha Global Cross-Border Trade Industry Cluster, unveiling of the Guangdong Token Trading and Service Center, and the signing of a series of strategic agreements.

Industry leaders including Google, Midea, Guangzhou Port, and HSBC shared the stage, while over 1,000 entrepreneurs, investors and cross-border trade experts engaged in discussions.

Operated by Nansha Development and Construction Group, the cluster merges customs, tax, forex, finance, warehousing and more into a single AI- and blockchain-powered platform. Three State-owned foreign trade entities were introduced to handle supply chain integration, comprehensive trade services and bulk commodities. "For a high-volume exporter like us, every day saved in customs clearance frees up millions in working capital," said Cai Yaowu, general manager of Guangzhou Hualing Air-Conditioning Equipment (a subsidiary of Midea Group).

The Guangdong Token Trading and Service Center, backed by provincial data authorities and the Guangzhou Data Exchange, was officially inaugurated. It will standardize token trading, positioning AI tokens as measurable, priceable and tradable units. The center provides compliance, trading and policy support while opening dedicated channels for cross-border data flows, laying a trusted digital foundation for AI industries.

Multiple partnerships were inked as well. Zhongke Huizhi (Guangdong) Information Technology joined forces with Lakala, Nium and Media Bank to enhance cross-border payments; Guangzhou Nansha Kaijian Foreign Trade Comprehensive Services signed with six domestic and international chambers of commerce to expand market access. Projects also covered automobile exports, food supply chains and export credit insurance. Lai Ningchang, chairman of Dongling Holdings Group, shared, "In 2015, a few hours of currency swings cost us over $29.64 million. Now Nansha's financial ecosystem helps us trade with stability."

Through its "Five-Harbor Synergy" — referring to its seaport, airport, data hub, financial hub and talent hub — Nansha is reshaping itself from a cargo gateway into a trusted, intelligent trade ecosystem where every enterprise can settle in, scale up and connect to the world.
