A cross-border social security service station was officially inaugurated at the Nansha New Area Hong Kong Service Center in Sun Hung Kai Centre, Wan Chai, on July 16. Located at Sun Hung Kai Centre, the station aims to build a one-stop, efficient service platform for cross-border insured groups, enabling residents to complete social insurance procedures without traveling back to the mainland.

Aligned with provincial government service standards, the station offers professional policy consultation on pension, unemployment and work-related injury insurance, and step-by-step guidance on digital government platforms for high-frequency services. For complex offline cases, it adopts a closed-loop mechanism of application collection in Hong Kong, processing in Nansha and cross-border result feedback. The new outlet brings Nansha's total cross-border social insurance service points in Hong Kong and Macao to 17, forming a full-coverage online-offline service system.

This new outlet expands the cross-border social security service network to 17 stations across Hong Kong and Macao, reinforcing a system that combines full online coverage with an extensive offline presence. This move marks a key step forward in cross-border government service connectivity and Greater Bay Area livelihood integration. Nansha will further deepen cross-regional social insurance cooperation and optimize service models to build a benchmark for convenient, high-quality cross-border public services.
