Although the main event is still two weeks away, the mountain is far from dormant. Handroanthus chrysanthus are in their prime viewing period, while blossoming peach trees create a stunning contrast against the ancient Eighteen Arhats Pagoda. Patches of purple flowers and azaleas further color the landscape, offering a breathtaking experience for early spring hikers.
The fourth Nansha Sakura Festival will kick off on March 14. With the theme "Sea of Pink Clouds", it promises an even more breathtaking display.
With over 1,000 cherry trees across the park, the scenery is set to reach its peak when the blossoms are at their peak.
The organizers have arranged a rich lineup of activities, including a grand opening featuring musical performances with 18 traditional instruments, displays of intangible cultural heritage, and interactive workshops.

For photography enthusiasts, the Yinying Valley and Liying Yuan areas will be transformed into a pink wonderland, featuring cherry blossom waterfalls and heart-shaped trees. A bustling cherry-themed market will also run alongside the festival, offering local specialties and limited-edition snacks.
To accommodate the influx of visitors, nearly 1,000 temporary parking spaces have been added. Free shuttle buses will also run during the festival, ensuring easy access to the spring spectacle.
