The 2026 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Lantern Festival will light up Nansha Tianhou Palace and the Waterfront Park starting Feb 10, with the display shining for 90 days. To offer visitors an immersive experience, a variety of hotels and unique homestays in Nansha are ready to welcome guests.

For upscale accommodations, the Guangzhou Nansha Garden Hotel offers coastal views, 365 well-appointed rooms, and expansive private gardens. The Nansha Grand Hotel, located steps from the festival's main entrance, provides easy access to Hong Kong and Macao.

Nansha's unique homestays offer cultural charm. Moniang Homestay, nestled within Tianhou Palace, features Mazu cultural elements and has been awarded a National Grade-C homestay status.

The Shi'ao Inn blends Lingnan and Nanyang (Southeast Asian) architectural styles. For a deeper connection to local life and nature, options like the Yuelai Ju water-town-themed stay and the Yuchangwan Eco Boutique Homestay near the wetlands allow guests to experience authentic Lingnan culture and serene ecology.

Staying in Nansha turns this lantern festival journey into an unforgettable retreat for both the eyes and the soul.
