The Nansha District People's Court has won the title of "National Excellent Court" for the first time. On Jan 17, the Supreme People's Court commended the collectives and individuals who won titles of "National Excellent Court", "National Excellent Judges" and "National Court Cases" in Beijing. The Nansha District Court was the only court in Guangzhou to receive the honor.

In the 1105-square-meter litigation service hall of the Nansha Court, all eight major areas, such as the service area and the mass rest area, are fully functional. Manual and intelligent services meet people's different needs. Rest seats, drinking utensils, mobile phone charging, wireless network, postal service, bank, pen and paper, photocopying and other facilities are readily available.
Wu Xiang, president of the Nansha Court, pointed out that in order to actively adapt to the construction needs of the Free Trade Zone and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the court provides bilingual service and complex Chinese characters and simplified Chinese character service. The court uses the familiar language of Hong Kong people in Hong Kong and Macao cases.
The legal documents are written in complex and simplified Chinese characters.The litigation service hall provides multi-language prosecution services along with multi-language barrier-free reception, and offers intelligent self-service such as online filing and WeChat payment.
Recently, the Nansha Court Litigation Service Center was rated as a demonstration window for litigation services in Guangdong courts, with a satisfaction rate of 97%, which reflects the efforts of the Nansha Court to provide universal, convenient, efficient, intelligent and accurate public services.
Li Sheng, deputy presidentof the Nansha Court, said that letting the people feel fairness and justice in every case is the goal pursued by the Nansha court. In the past three years, the court has accepted more than 43,000 cases and settled more than 39,000. The work has been repeatedly affirmed by the leaders of the Guangzhou government and the court is the only one to meet the standards of the executive over the last eight years.
In 2017, Liu paid 34,400 yuan($5069.01) for a cruise to Okinawa. However, on August 5 of the same year, the cruise ship was suspended, and Zeng, who had accepted the payment, only returned some of it. Liu therefore reported him to the Nansha court. Li Jialiang, judge of the Commercial Court of Nansha Court, went to the industrial and commercial department to inquire about the filing information of the tourism company, and finally accepted the WeChat record as evidence.
To a certain extent, electronic evidence has impacted the concept of evidence such as “written”, “original” and “by instrument” in the traditional sense. Correspondingly, some traditional rules of evidence, if not advanced, will affect the adoption of electronic data as evidence. Li Sheng said that in conjunction with trial practice, the Nansha Court took the lead in formulating the "Internet Electronic Data Evidence Proof and Certification Procedure" in July 2018, and strictly regulated the increasing number of electronic evidence certifications, which was a demonstration to the country.
